Very sadly, the Divine Liturgy in English at 9-30 am on Sundays at the Holy Family Cathedral, Lower Church, have had to be put on hold. Until the practicalities we cannot use the Lower Church space. Hopefully this will be resolved very soon. Please keep checking in here for details.

Owing to public health guidance, masks should still be worn indoors and distance maintained. Sanitisers are available. Holy Communion is distributed in both kinds from the mixed and common chalice, by means of a separate Communion spoon for each individual communicant.

What did Pope Francis Really Say About Marxism and the Orthodox Church? - International - Catholic Online

Keith Fournier of Catholic Online examines the recent interview of Pope Francis by Andrea Tornielli of Vatican Insider, published in the Italian newspaper, La Stampa, after the publication of Evangelii Gaudium, the Apostolic Exhortation.

Fournier writes: "There are many noteworthy comments in the interview, I will only address the two which I believe will generate the most response in the Press; his follow up comments concerning economic issues and his desire to promote authentic Christian collaboration, with a special emphasis on the Orthodox Church."
